Hello, I’m Nurselle (pronounced Noor-cell), a photographer from Central Asia, now based in New York City. My journey behind the lens began in 2023 after moving to the United States, where I studied filmmaking and photography at the New York Film Academy.

I launched my career photographing the cast of the Netflix series Owning Manhattan, and my work has since been featured in various publications.

I founded Ivory Memoir to create timeless, editorial imagery that captures people’s most meaningful moments with honesty, elegance, and emotion—while also celebrating and representing the Central Asian community in the United States.

I speak Kazakh, English, and Russian fluently, and I’m deeply inspired by travel, culture, and human connection.

My work lives at the intersection of editorial portraiture and lifestyle storytelling—capturing atmosphere, emotion, and the quiet in-between moments that make an image unforgettable.
